Editorial Policy
Our sourcing criteria, claim-verification standards, and rectification guidelines.
Source Selection & Verification Standards
Our analysis relies on direct manufacturer spec sheets, user manuals, firmware release logs, seller documentation, and customer feedback patterns. We do not accept factory claims at face value.
- Lumen Decoding
- Vendor-reported 'LED Lumens' or 'Light Source Lumens' are explicitly converted to realistic environmental expectations, distinguishing between pitch-black and ambient-light viewability.
- Resolution Clarity
- We separate input signal decoding (such as accepting a 4K file) from the actual physical display panel resolution (native 720p or 1080p).
- Regional Hardware Specs
- We examine power brick voltage range (100–240V compatibility), plug standards, and firmware regional restrictions before recommending international units.
Corrections & Revision Protocol
When hardware revisions occur, sellers update chipset specifications, or factual oversights are identified, we correct the article promptly. Corrections are noted with the update date and an explicit description of the modified data point to maintain transparent reporting.
